Project - Croydon College - Arts Centre Relocation - Completed 2012
Michael Jones & Associates LLP were appointed to carry out the Mechanical and Electrical Design for the refurbishment of the existing Library Space into a new Fine Arts Centre at the college.
The refurbishment works contract was carried out with a fast track programme to complete the project within the College’s required timescales and included the construction of new Classroom spaces, new Workshop spaces, new Gallery areas and dedicated specialist areas for sewing and design.
The project took nine months from finalised design to completion and changed a large open area into flexible spaces with dedicated areas for particular purposes and a large open areas for Art and Design.
