Project - Orchard School - Extension & Refurbishment - Completed 2012
Michael Jones & Associated LLP were appointed to a project which comprised the phased extension and complete refurbishment of an existing three storey primary school in Hackney, London to BREEAM ‘Very Good’ accreditation.
Works were carried out over a two year period whilst the school remained fully occupied and operational throughout.
Mechanical & Electrical works included the complete removal and replacement of existing services, including inclusion of renewable energy generation via building-mounted solar thermal and PV panel arrays.
