Project - St Mary's University College - New Sports Facilities

Michael Jones & Associates LLP were appointed for the construction of a new Sports Hall and associated support facilities,including Strength and Conditioning Suite, Changing Facilities and Administration Offices.
Alongside the new building, the existing sports facilities were refurbished and upgraded.

The New Sports Building is an exemplary low energy and sustainable development, incorporating PV panels, solar thermal hot water, ground source heat pumps, heat pump boilers, under-floor heating and rainwater harvesting.

The building has achieved BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating and includes achieving a 20% renewable energy target to accord with planning requirements.
